Overview Tab

It provides overview of cloudflare. Further details are in its respective tabs.

1) Analytics Overview - It is a graph on left side of page. It provides website analytics. For example it provides total requests per 24hours/7days/30days.

2) Quick Actions

A) Purge Cache → It takes you to CACHING tab where we have a option to purge cloudflare cache etc.

B) DNS Settings → It takes you to DNS tab there we can manage DNS records.

C) Under Attack Mode -> Cloudflare "Under Attack Mode" performs additional security checks to help mitigate Layer 7 DDoS attacks. Layer 7 DDos attack is - Human-computer interaction layer, where applications can access the network services. A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack is a malicious attempt to disrupt the normal traffic of a targeted server.
Validated users get access website and suspicious traffic is blocked.

D) Development Mode - The Cloudflare Development mode is a service which allows for the internal Cloudflare CDN service to be disabled so your static contents can be directly loaded from the web hosting server where your website is hosted at. It lasts for 3 hours. It automatically switches to off after 3 hours.

3) Domain Registration, Active Subscriptions and Support Resources
A) Domain Registration
Here we get the name of registrar where our domain is. Manage Domain takes you to another page where we get information about expiry date of domain and option to transfer domain to cloudflare.

B) Active Subscriptions
Page Rules - It takes us to RULES tab. We will study about it when we will on that tab. Here we also get information about the plan we are using on cloudflare.

C) Support Resources
Here we have 2 support resources - Help center and commmunity from where can get support related forums and such when needed.

4) API and Advanced Actions
A) API - Here we get Zone ID and Account ID that we need when we will be using cloudflare API on one of our site.

B) Advanced Actions
(i) Pause Cloudflare on site → Pausing Cloudflare will cause your origin IP address to be returned by Cloudflare's nameservers, sending traffic directly to it rather than through Cloudflare's reverse proxy. No Cloudflare services will be enabled on that domain or subdomains while the site is paused. An alternative to pausing Cloudflare would be to use Development Mode, which will only bypass Cloudflare's cache, but still provide other services such as SSL.

(ii) Remove site from cloudflare → Clicking this option will permanently remove site from cloudflare.
